Steelers at Saints Paris Preview: Week 7 Picks, Odds and Projections from the Stade de France

Published October 21, 2026 by Statz NFL.

The NFL goes to Paris: a 4-2 Pittsburgh team against a New Orleans defence that allows 30 points a game, with the market at 44.5 and the model at 47.6. The over, the Pittsburgh receiver unders, the scorers and the slips for Steelers at Saints.

Pittsburgh's offence against the league's worst scoring defence

Steelers at Saints kicks off at 2:30pm UK time on Sunday 25 October at the Stade de France in Paris, 3:30pm local, 9:30am Eastern, with New Orleans the designated home side. It is the only game on until the 6pm slate. Pittsburgh are 4-2 and top of the AFC North, fresh from a 26-19 overtime win at Tampa Bay; New Orleans are 2-4 and beat the Giants 34-27 last week. Both had seven days. The market has Pittsburgh by three and a half at a total of 44.5.

The mismatch is on one side of the ball. New Orleans allow 29.7 points a game, last in the league, and 394 yards, 30th, with the 26th-ranked pass defence and the 30th-ranked run defence. Pittsburgh allow 21.3 points, 12th, and 222 passing yards a game, eighth. New Orleans have the better offence, 25.3 points a game, 10th, and the eighth-best third-down rate at 42.5%, against Pittsburgh's 32.9%, 28th. The series is level at 1-1 with an average total of 44.5, Pittsburgh covering both times, the last a 20-10 Steelers win in Week 10 of 2022. The numbers for each side are on the Steelers stats and Saints stats pages, and the game page has the model.

Where the game is won

The matchup grid is Pittsburgh's on every unit. Pittsburgh passing against the New Orleans secondary is a 75% Steelers edge, and Pittsburgh running against the New Orleans front is an 81% Steelers edge. New Orleans passing against Pittsburgh is a 62% Steelers edge and New Orleans running a 61% Steelers edge. So the model has Pittsburgh by three and a half and scoring 25, and New Orleans scoring 22 anyway, because the Saints' offence is the better one in the game. The Steelers rushing and Saints receiving pages show who carries each side.

The projections: Aaron Rodgers 224 passing yards and 1.5 touchdowns; Jaylen Warren 69 rushing yards on 14 carries and 34 receiving; DK Metcalf 67 receiving yards on nearly nine targets; Tyler Shough 244 passing yards, 1.4 touchdowns and 19 rushing yards; Chris Olave 79 receiving yards. Pittsburgh are without cornerback Donte Kent and running back Max Hurleman, and Rico Dowdle and Ben Skowronek are questionable; New Orleans are without defensive tackle Keeshawn Silver, and Taysom Hill is questionable behind Shough. Both depth charts are live.

The model's number

The model has Pittsburgh 25.5, New Orleans 22.1, a 47.6 total, and the Saints winning 40 times in 100. The market has Pittsburgh by three and a half, so the side is priced to the model's number; the total is where the two part. The model is three points above the market on the total, and the over at 44.5 at 2.02 on Kalshi is a 52.1% call against 49.5% implied, four stars, and a half-point bet. New Orleans on the moneyline at 2.67 is a 38.8% call against 37.5%, two stars, no bet.

  • Over 44.5 points — Total, PIT @ NO, Sun 2:30pm UK / 9:30am ET — at 2.02 — Model total 47.6 against a market 3 points lower. The league's worst scoring defence is on the field. Game preview

Scorers, props and the slips

The props board has a Pittsburgh theme: the receivers behind Metcalf come up short. Germie Bernard under 53.5 receiving yards at 1.86 is projected at 44, a 61% model call, and Bernard under 5.5 receptions at 1.68 is projected at 3.9, 67%, both five stars. Rico Dowdle over 1.5 receptions at 1.83 is projected at 2.6, 62%, five stars, and Dowdle under 32.5 rushing yards at 1.86 is projected at 30, 59%, four. Kendre Miller over 3.5 receiving yards at 1.86 is projected at 7.9, 59%, a four-star at a line that asks for one catch.

The scorers: Chris Olave at 2.80 is a 38% call against 36%, about fair. Pat Freiermuth at 3.60 is a 30% call against 28%, three stars. Jaylen Warren at 1.64 is the fade, a 38% call priced at 61%. The Single Game Parlays page carries three slips here, all built on New Orleans throwing a lot against a Pittsburgh defence the grid rates 62% Steelers, which is the risk. The One Passing Game at 61.62 is Shough over 249.5 passing yards at 2.32, Olave to score at 2.80, Olave over 74.5 receiving yards at 1.86 and Juwan Johnson over 59.5 at 5.10, 8.0% against 1.6%, a tenth of a point. The Second Receiver Ceiling at 81.90 is Shough over 299.5 at 5.00, Devaughn Vele to score at 3.90 and Vele over 69.5 receiving yards at 4.20, 6.8% against 1.2%; the Chase Script at 112.44 adds Warren over 62.5 rushing yards to the Vele legs, 4.6% against 0.9%. The NFL Parlays page has a Second Receiver Ceiling at 35.57 on the same game at a lower line, Shough over 221.5, 9.5% against 2.8%, 0.15 of a point. A slip is a script and a single is a line: the slips need Shough throwing, and the Bernard under needs Pittsburgh not to.

  • Germie Bernard under 5.5 receptions — WR, PIT — at 1.68 — Projected 3.9 catches behind Metcalf. Game preview
  • Rico Dowdle over 1.5 receptions — RB, PIT — at 1.83 — Projected 2.6 catches. Questionable, so check the inactives. Game preview
  • One Passing Game, PIT @ NO — Shough o249.5 · Olave TD · Olave o74.5 rec · Johnson o59.5 rec — at 61.62 — A tenth of a point on New Orleans throwing against a Pittsburgh pass defence ranked eighth. Game preview

The verdict

The side is priced right, so the bet is the over. The league's 32nd-ranked scoring defence meets a Pittsburgh side the grid favours on every unit, and the model puts the total three points above the market. Props behind that: the Bernard under and the Dowdle catches. The news to watch is Dowdle and Skowronek on the questionable list, and Taysom Hill, who would only matter if Shough is hurt.
