Frequently asked questions
What does the tracker show?
Every pick Best Bets has published this season and how it finished: the record, the profit in points, the ROI and a chart of the running total.
What counts as a pick?
Every game line, player prop and parlay published on Best Bets. Nothing is added afterwards and nothing is left out.
How are picks graded?
Game lines against the final score and player props against the official box score. A line that lands exactly is a push; a player who doesn't play, or a game that is called off, is a void.
How are points and ROI worked out?
Each pick is settled at the stake it was published at. Profit is shown in points, and ROI is the profit divided by the points staked.
Why does the record start this season?
Because Best Bets is new: only picks that were actually published count.
What is a unit in sports betting?
A fixed stake size. A record in units can be compared whatever the size of the bets behind it.
What does ROI mean in betting?
Return on investment: the profit divided by the total staked, as a percentage.
Can I see every past Best Bet?
Yes: the log lists every pick with its price, its stake and how it settled.
