The Orlando Magic injury report is a long one heading into Tuesday's trip to the Sacramento Kings. Six players are listed Out, and that includes Paolo Banchero, Jalen Suggs, Desmond Bane and Noah Penda, as well as Jonathan Isaac and Izaiyah Nelson. The report was last updated Sunday 8 November at 1:40 AM ET.
The headline is simple. The Magic have 60 percent of their opening night starting lineup in street clothes, and the players left on the floor are the ones who have to answer for it. Orlando are 2-7 over their last nine games, so there is not much cushion to lose.
So who steps up? Franz Wagner is the obvious answer, with Anthony Black and Tristan Da Silva next in line. Here is how the minutes and the scoring look when the injured names come off the list.
Six Magic players are out for the trip to Sacramento
The Magic list six players, all of them Out, for the game at the Kings on Tuesday 10 November 2026. Three of them, Isaac, Suggs and Bane, carry an expected return date of 10 November, the day of the game itself. Penda and Nelson are listed back on 18 November, and Banchero is the longest absence at 22 November.
That 60 percent figure comes from the Magic's opening night starters: Banchero (ankle), Suggs (knee) and Bane (illness) are the three missing. It is a heavy hit for any side, and it lands on a team that has won two of its last nine.
The dates are expectations, not promises. Three of the six are tied to the 10 November tip-off, which means the picture could change before then. Anyone planning around the game should check the who is out for the Magic against the Kings list closer to tip-off.

What each absence takes away
Not every name on the list costs the Magic the same thing. Banchero is the big one, Suggs and Bane take away guard minutes, and the rest is depth. Here is what each one leaves behind.
Paolo Banchero: the scoring hole
Paolo Banchero leads the Magic in scoring at 24.5 points a game, with 6.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists, in two games at 33.8 minutes. That is a small sample, but it is the top scoring average on the roster.
He left Friday's loss to the Timberwolves with a right high-ankle sprain, and Shams Charania of ESPN reports he is expected to be sidelined four-to-six weeks. The report lists him back on 22 November. The Magic will have to lean harder on Franz Wagner and Desmond Bane offensively, and Tristan Da Silva figures to be the top candidate to step into the starting lineup, per the report.
Jalen Suggs and Desmond Bane: the guard minutes
Jalen Suggs has played three games, averaging 8.0 points, 5.7 assists and 2.0 steals in 33.4 minutes. He has a mild bone bruise in his right knee and was to be re-evaluated in two weeks, with a listed return of 10 November.
Desmond Bane has played eight games at 34.5 minutes, scoring 17.5 points a game and shooting 36.8 percent from three. He is the third-leading scorer on the team and the second-busiest player on the floor. His absence is listed as an illness, and the report names Jase Richardson, Jamal Cain and Jevon Carter as the players expected to absorb extra minutes.
Penda, Isaac and Nelson: the depth
Noah Penda suffered a partially torn right hamstring in Friday's 136-115 preseason win over the Heat, and the timeline is unknown. Last season he averaged 3.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists over 12.8 minutes in 59 games. He is not expected to be a mainstay in the rotation, but his absence could open a few minutes for Da Silva.
Isaac has yet to play this season, and Nelson is on a two-way contract, so his absence mainly affects his own development.
Who is left: the Magic's available scorers
Take the injured names out and the scoring ladder is short. Franz Wagner sits on top at 20.8 points and 8.8 assists in nine games, and he plays more than anyone at 36.5 minutes. Anthony Black follows with 15.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists in six games.
Tristan Da Silva averages 15.1 points and shoots 40.0 percent from three, and Wendell Carter Jr. is the interior anchor with 14.8 points, 9.6 rebounds and 63.0 percent from the field. Below that, the numbers drop quickly: Jamal Cain scores 7.2, Jase Richardson 5.9 and Jevon Carter 4.0.
The full picture of who is in and out sits on the Orlando Magic injury report, and the Magic depth chart shows how the rotation is laid out.

| Anthony Black | 15.7 | 5.7 | 5.2 | 30.1 | 6 |

Where the minutes and shots could go
Several of the numbers rest on small samples: Banchero has played two games, Suggs three. What the figures do show is where the gaps are biggest. The full list of Magic and Kings injuries and the Magic depth chart are the places to see how the rotation is set before the game.
Wagner as the main creator
Wagner already plays the most minutes on the team at 36.5, and he leads in assists at 8.8 a game. With Banchero (7.5 assists) and Suggs (5.7) both out, the three highest assist averages on the roster drop to one. Black is next at 5.2.
His three-point shooting is the one soft spot. Wagner shoots 23.3 percent from deep over nine games, while Black shoots 42.9 percent. If the Magic want shooting from the guard spot, the numbers point to Black rather than to Wagner.
Black and Richardson in the backcourt
The two guards leaving the lineup, Suggs and Bane, played 33.4 and 34.5 minutes a game. Black plays 30.1, Richardson 22.7 and Jevon Carter 14.2, so the replacements are all on lower minutes and will have to cover a lot of ground. The page names Black and Richardson as the players who could see more opportunity in the backcourt.
The efficiency picture is thinner than the volume. Richardson shoots 31.8 percent from the field and Jevon Carter also shoots 31.8 percent. Black, at 46.3 percent, is the one guard replacement shooting above 40.
Da Silva and Carter Jr. up front
Tristan Da Silva plays 30.5 minutes a game and scores 15.1, and the report calls him the top candidate to enter the starting lineup while Banchero is out. Penda's absence could open a few more minutes for him as well.
Wendell Carter Jr. is the rebounding anchor at 9.6 a game, ahead of Banchero's 6.5 and Wagner's 6.3, and he shoots 63.0 percent from the field. Up front, the Magic lose Banchero's scoring but keep their best rebounder.
The Kings are short too
Sacramento are not at full strength either. The Kings list five players on their own report, and the Kings v Magic preview has the game details.
Ben Simmons is out after surgery to repair a torn right Achilles tendon. He averaged 10.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists over 17.4 minutes in two preseason games. Keegan Murray is the one questionable name, with left ankle capsulitis. He has not played since going down on 25 October, and if he is cleared his minutes will likely be monitored. Maxime Raynaud is listed back on 10 November with a right patellar subluxation, and Jonathan Mogbo is also out.

What to watch before tip-off
Banchero is listed as Out for 10 November and is not expected back until 22 November. Suggs, Bane and Isaac all carry a 10 November return date, which is the day of the game, so their status could change before tip-off. Murray's questionable tag is the one open question on the Kings side.
