Washington Wizards injury report

4 listed
  • Tristan Vukcevic

Injury/Illness - Left Hip Impingement (2026-11-04, ATL@WAS). Prior reporting (2026-11-01): Vukcevic (hip) is listed as out for Monday's game against Orlando. The Wizards announced on Oct. 1 that Vukcevic would be sidelined for at least a month. However, there haven't been any definitive updates regarding when he will be able to get back on the floor. In the meantime, Deandre Ayton should see more minutes off the bench.

    Expected back 9 Nov

  • Jamir Watkins

Injury/Illness - Left ACL Repair / Surgery (2026-11-04, ATL@WAS). Prior reporting (2026-07-30): The Wizards announced Thursday that Watkins has undergone surgery for a torn ACL. Watkins, a two-way player for the Wizards, suffered the injury during the Summer League. Although Washington has yet to offer a timetable for a return, a typical recovery time for the procedure is approximately 9-to-12 months. That leaves Watkins in serious jeopardy of missing most, if not all, of the 2026-27 season, and it remains to be seen if the team will continue keeping him around on a two-way roster spot while he's injured.

    Expected back 2 Apr

  • Justin Champagnie

Injury/Illness - Right Foot Surgery (2026-11-04, ATL@WAS). Prior reporting (2026-10-28): Champagnie (foot) is expected to miss several months, per Josh Robbins of The Athletic. The forward underwent surgery Wednesday to address a fractured foot, and the Wizards hope Champagnie will be ready to return at some time around the All-Star break in February. The likes of Bilal Coulibaly, Tre Johnson and Bub Carrington will all be asked to help pick up the slack for the foreseeable future.

    Expected back 25 Feb

  • Reece Beekman

Injury/Illness - Right AC Joint Injury (2026-11-04, ATL@WAS). Prior reporting (2026-11-02): The Wizards announced Monday that Beekman sustained a right acromioclavicular joint injury and will be re-evaluated in approximately three weeks. Beekman is set for an extended absence, with his re-evaluation timeline suggesting he could remain sidelined beyond the initial three-week window. The injury further limits Washington's backcourt depth, though Beekman's absence is unlikely to have a significant impact on standard fantasy leagues.

    Expected back 3 Dec

Atlanta Hawks injury report

7 listed
  • Henri Veesaar

Injury/Illness - Right ACL Tear (2026-11-04, ATL@WAS). Prior reporting (2026-09-21): Veesaar was diagnosed with a torn right ACL and is expected to miss the 2026-27 season, the Hawks announced Monday. Veesaar suffered the injury during a workout on Sept. 15, and an MRI confirmed the diagnosis. The No. 52 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, Veesaar was expected to spend a lot of time with Atlanta's G League affiliate this season. Previously reported out for season.

    Expected back 1 Jul

  • Mouhamed Gueye

Injury/Illness - Left Foot Fracture (2026-11-04, ATL@WAS). Prior reporting (2026-10-19): Gueye underwent surgery Tuesday to repair a fractured left foot that he suffered during a workout last week, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Gueye will be re-evaluated by medical staff in 3-to-4 months, which means he'll miss all of training camp and preseason and likely the start of the 2026-27 regular season. It's a brutal blow for the fourth-year big man, given that the Hawks used the No. 23 overall pick of the 2026 NBA Draft to select St. John's product Zuby Ejiofor. Gueye's absence means Ejiofor will have more opportunities in the preseason, and the rookie could establish a key role off the bench behind Onyeka Okongwu and projected backup center Jock Landale (ankle).

    Expected back 20 Nov

  • Jock Landale

Injury/Illness - Left Hip Strain (2026-11-04, ATL@WAS). Prior reporting (2026-11-03): Landale is out for Wednesday's game against the Wizards with a left hip strain, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports. Landale is sidelined for a second consecutive game with the injury. Zuby Ejiofor should handle the No. 2 center spot for as long as Landale is on the shelf.

    Expected back 6 Nov

  • Jalen Johnson

Injury/Illness - Left Ankle Sprain (2026-11-04, ATL@WAS). Prior reporting (2026-11-04): Johnson (ankle) is listed as out for Wednesday's game in Washington. Johnson sustained a sprained left ankle in Saturday's 121-99 loss to the Pelicans and wasn't available for Monday's meeting with Indiana. Now that the 24-year-old is ruled out for a second consecutive game, his next opportunity to get back on the floor will come Friday for the rematch with the Wizards. Without Johnson, Luguentz Dort is expected to stay in the starting lineup.

    Expected back 6 Nov

  • RayJ Dennis

    G League - Two-Way (2026-11-04, ATL@WAS).

  • Keshon Gilbert

    G League - Two-Way (2026-11-04, ATL@WAS).

  • Jalen Wilson

    G League - Two-Way (2026-11-04, ATL@WAS).
