San Antonio Spurs injury report

2 listed
  • Jayden Quaintance

Quaintance has been around the team but has not yet been cleared for basketball activities, Matt Guzman of SI.com reports. The Spurs are expected to exercise extreme caution with the big man, as Quaintance suffered a torn ACL and meniscus with Arizona State in February 2025 before appearing in only four games with Kentucky last season due to severe complications and persistent swelling. The 19-year-old underwent a cleanup procedure on his meniscus in mid-July, and the Spurs will likely want him at 100 percent before ramping him up to basketball activities.

    Expected back 3 Dec

  • Tobias Harris

Harris (calf) is listed as out for Saturday's game against Minnesota. Harris suffered a strained left calf ahead of the 2026-27 campaign and has yet to make his debut with the Spurs. The veteran is slowly making progress toward a return, though he should be considered week-to-week until more information is released. The 34-year-old, who signed with San Antonio during the offseason, averaged 13.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists over 27.7 minutes per contest in 63 regular-season appearances with the Pistons in 2025-26.

    Expected back 9 Nov

Sacramento Kings injury report

4 listed
  • Maxime Raynaud

Raynaud (knee) is progressing in his rehabilitation and will be re-evaluated in approximately two weeks, Brenden Nunes of KHTK Sactown Sports 1140 reports. Raynaud's absence is expected to extend into mid-November due to a right patellar subluxation. With Dylan Cardwell (calf) set to miss at least one more week, Precious Achiuwa, Jonathan Mogbo and De'Andre Hunter are candidates for increased minutes in the frontcourt.

    Expected back 10 Nov

  • Ben Simmons

Simmons underwent successful surgery Tuesday to repair a torn right Achilles tendon, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports. Simmons had a quality preseason, averaging 10.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists over 17.4 minutes per contest (two games). The 30-year-old was on track to suit up for the Kings on opening night, though those plans were halted after he suffered a torn Achilles tendon during practice. Now, Simmons will focus on rehab. However, it's unknown what the future holds regarding his career in the NBA. Reported out for season.

    Expected back 1 Oct

  • Keegan Murray

Murray (ankle) will be re-evaluated in 10-to-14 days, NBA reporter Marc Stein reports. Murray has officially been diagnosed with left ankle capsulitis, and he's set to miss at least the next 10 days. Precious Achiuwa has been starting in Murray's absence, and he should continue to see opportunities along with De'Andre Hunter and Daeqwon Plowden.

    Expected back 10 Nov

  • Daeqwon Plowden

Plowden (illness) is out for Wednesday's game against the Lakers. Plowden is under the weather and can be considered day-to-day. Dylan Cardwell's (calf) season debut is coming at an opportune time for the Kings on Wednesday.

    Expected back 6 Nov
