Portland Trail Blazers injury report

3 listed
  • Shaedon Sharpe

Sharpe suffered a torn meniscus in his knee and is expected to miss six months, per Shams Charania of ESPN. It's a tough blow to the Trail Blazers' depth on the wing ahead of training camp. Sharpe, who is now likely to be sidelined until after the All-Star break, had been ticketed for a reserve role behind Toumani Camara following an injury-plagued 2025-26 campaign, which saw average a career-high 20.8 points, 1.4 steals and 2.1 three-pointers per game over 50 regular-season appearances. The door is now open for Vit Krejci and Jeremy Sochan to compete for bench minutes during camp.

    Expected back 2 Mar

  • Ja Morant

Morant has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain and is expected to miss four weeks, Portland announced Friday. Morant left Thursday's game early with a hamstring injury, which has since been revealed to be a strain that will result in a monthlong absence. The star guard leaves a major void in the Trail Blazers' starting backcourt, one that figures to be filled by Jrue Holiday for the foreseeable future.

    Expected back 1 Dec

  • Vit Krejci

Head coach Micah Nori said that Krejci suffered a left leg fracture during Wednesday's 132-119 win over the Suns, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports. Nori did not provide a timetable for Krejci, but it's safe to say that he won't be back soon. His minutes figure to be divvied up amongst Chris Youngblood and Sidy Cissoko.

    Expected back 2 Jan

Los Angeles Lakers injury report

1 listed
  • Adou Thiero

The Lakers assigned Thiero (knee) to the G League's Coachella Valley Lakers on Wednesday, per Khobi Price of The California Post. Thiero is practicing with the G League club amid his knee recovery. He appears to be close to being cleared for his season debut with the Lakers.

    Expected back 6 Nov
