Phoenix Suns injury report

Injury/Illness - Left Shoulder Surgery (2026-11-02, PHX@GSW). Prior reporting (2026-09-11): Williams underwent surgery Thursday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder and will miss an extended period of time, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. This is a tough blow for the center with training camp right around the corner. With his status for Opening Night in jeopardy, this will put a lot of eyes on Oso Ighodaro and Khaman Maluach, with the latter already drawing buzz during the Summer League. More clarity on Williams' timeline should be known in the coming weeks.

Portland Trail Blazers injury report

Injury/Illness - Right Meniscus Surgery (2026-11-02, POR@DEN). Prior reporting (2026-08-24): Sharpe suffered a torn meniscus in his knee and is expected to miss six months, per Shams Charania of ESPN. It's a tough blow to the Trail Blazers' depth on the wing ahead of training camp. Sharpe, who is now likely to be sidelined until after the All-Star break, had been ticketed for a reserve role behind Toumani Camara following an injury-plagued 2025-26 campaign, which saw average a career-high 20.8 points, 1.4 steals and 2.1 three-pointers per game over 50 regular-season appearances. The door is now open for Vit Krejci and Jeremy Sochan to compete for bench minutes during camp.
Expected back 2 Mar

Injury/Illness - Left Hamstring Strain (2026-11-02, POR@DEN). Prior reporting (2026-10-30): Morant has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain and is expected to miss four weeks, Portland announced Friday. Morant left Thursday's game early with a hamstring injury, which has since been revealed to be a strain that will result in a monthlong absence. The star guard leaves a major void in the Trail Blazers' starting backcourt, one that figures to be filled by Jrue Holiday for the foreseeable future.
Expected back 1 Dec
