Philadelphia 76ers injury report

2 listed
  • Dominick Barlow

Barlow (back) has been on the court "a little bit" and will be re-evaluated Tuesday, Austin Krell of OnPattison.com reports. The Sixers are hoping for positive news so they can progress Barlow's workouts. The big man has yet to make his season debut due to a lumbar spine bone stress response.

    Expected back 4 Nov

  • Ariel Hukporti

Hukporti has sustained a season-ending ruptured right Achilles tendon, per Shams Charania of ESPN. Hukporti went down with an Achilles injury in Monday's preseason opener against the Knicks, and an MRI has since revealed a rupture. He signed a one-year deal with the 76ers over the summer, so Hukporti will be an unrestricted free agent come season's end. With Hukporti's year already finished, Adem Bona (foot) should assume the backup center role behind Joel Embiid once healthy. Reported out for season.

    Expected back 1 Oct

Detroit Pistons injury report

2 listed
  • Jalen Duren

Duren will be re-evaluated in two weeks due to a right hamstring strain, Eric Vincent of ClutchPoints.com reports. Duren suffered the hamstring injury in Friday's win over Miami and is set to miss an extended period. Paul Reed is expected to join the starting five and carries significant fantasy value until Duren returns. John Collins and Tolu Smith are also candidates to see a bump in minutes in Duren's stead.

    Expected back 9 Nov

  • Isaiah Joe

Joe (hip) is out for Monday against the Hornets. Jones was unable to shake his questionable tag and will miss his fourth straight game. His next chance to play comes Wednesday against the 76ers.

    Expected back 4 Nov
