New York Knicks injury report
Alvarado (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Philadelphia. Alvarado will miss a fourth straight game with a left ankle sprain, and it's not a positive sign that he's being ruled out a day before tipoff. He can be considered week-to-week until the Knicks offer an update on his status. Tyler Kolek will likely continue seeing increased burn in Alvarado's absence.

Brooklyn Nets injury report
G League - Two-Way (2026-11-01, BKN@IND). Prior reporting (2026-10-25): Bilodeau (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Indiana. Bilodeau will miss a third straight game to begin the regular season due to a right shoulder sprain. The two-way player's absence shouldn't affect the rotation.
Expected back 6 Nov
Injury/Illness - Right Bone Bruise (2026-11-01, BKN@IND). Prior reporting (2026-10-29): The Nets exercised Demin's third-year team option for the 2027-28 season, Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today reports Thursday. Brooklyn's decision keeps Demin under contract through the 2027-28 campaign as the organization continues investing in its young backcourt. The move provides additional long-term stability but doesn't directly impact his immediate fantasy outlook. Demin is currently dealing with a right leg bone bruise and is scheduled to be re-evaluated in one week.
Expected back 7 Nov
Injury/Illness - Back, Injury Management (2026-11-01, BKN@IND). Prior reporting (2026-10-31): Brown (rest) is out for Sunday's game in Indiana. Brown will skip the first leg of this upcoming back-to-back set, but he should return for Monday's game in New York. With Brown inactive, there will be more minutes available for Nolan Traore, Terance Mann and Keon Ellis.
