Being fouled is a skill, and it is one the Premier League's table does not record anywhere. This page answers the simple version of the question: after 5 games of the 2026/27 season, who has been fouled the most, and who does the fouling.
The answer at the top is Alex Scott of AFC Bournemouth, with 17 fouls won at 3.42 a game. Bukayo Saka is next on 15. Both numbers come from the same board behind our Premier League player stats page, and both are built on 5 matches, which is a real caveat and one this page comes back to.
Players with 270 minutes or more

| 3 | John McGinn | Villa | 14 | 2.89 |
| 4 | Yoane Wissa | Newcastle | 12 | 2.44 |
| 5 | Elliot Anderson | Man City | 12 | 2.60 |
| 6 | João Pedro | Chelsea | 12 | 3.00 |
| 7 | Oliver McBurnie | Hull | 11 | 2.24 |

Alex Scott has been fouled 17 times in 447 minutes, which is 3.42 a game and the most in the division. Bukayo Saka is a foul behind on fewer minutes, at 3.22 a game. Aston Villa's John McGinn completes the top three.
Players with 270 minutes or more
| # | Player | Team | Fouls | Per 90 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Adrien Truffert | B'mouth | 11 | 2.20 |
| 2 | Saša Lukić | Ipswich | 11 | 2.46 |
| 3 | Dan Ballard | Sunderland | 10 | 2.00 |
| 4 | Anton Stach | Leeds | 10 | 2.01 |
| 5 | Yoane Wissa | Newcastle | 10 | 2.04 |
| 6 | Dominik Szoboszlai | Liverpool | 10 | 2.04 |
| 7 | Issahaku Fatawu | Ipswich | 10 | 2.52 |
| 8 | Vitaly Janelt | Brentford | 9 | 1.80 |
| 9 | Murillo | Forest | 9 | 1.80 |
| 10 | Harrison Armstrong | Everton | 9 | 1.81 |
Adrien Truffert leads for fouls committed with 11, and the list underneath him is much flatter than the one above: the gap from first to tenth here is 2 fouls, against 7 on the fouls-won board. Drawing fouls concentrates in a few players. Committing them spreads out.
The most-fouled players barely foul anyone. All 12 of the top twelve for fouls won have a positive difference between fouls won and fouls committed, and three of them are more than nine clear: Alex Scott at 17 and 4, Bukayo Saka at 15 and 2, and Adam Wharton at 10 and 1. These are two different jobs on a football pitch and almost nobody does both.
It is a midfield and wide-forward statistic. The board is carried by ball-carriers rather than strikers, which is what you would expect of a number that counts being stopped while running with the ball rather than being wrestled in a penalty area.
5 games is not many. A single busy afternoon moves a player four or five places here, and the per-90 column is the more honest of the two for anyone short of a full season. The 270-minute floor keeps out a player who happened to be kicked twice in a cameo, and nothing more than that.
At team level, Arsenal win the most fouls at 15.4 a game and Nottingham Forest commit the most at 14.6. Everton commit the fewest at 8, which is more than six fewer a game than Nottingham Forest.
Fouls are priced as a player prop, and the reason to read this board is that it predicts the other team's card rather than its own. A winger who wins a lot of fouls is a winger whose direct opponent is committing them, and the full back facing Alex Scott or Bukayo Saka on a given weekend carries a foul count that has nothing to do with his own season average.
That is the usable shape: read the fouls-won board to find the fixture, then look at who is marking him. The same logic runs at team level, where a side facing Arsenal is facing the division's busiest foul-winners for ninety minutes.
Live fouls lines by fixture are on the Statz Bet Builder, and the full player board, sortable on any of 59 metrics, is at Premier League player stats. Team-level fouls and cards sit on the team stats page.
