Nobody in the Premier League has been fouled more than Arsenal this season. Across five league games they have won 77 fouls, 15.4 a game, ahead of Sunderland on 71 and Bournemouth on 70. Twelve months ago the same number ranked them ninth, at 11.03 a game, and the year before that tenth. It is a five-game sample, so read it as a signal worth watching rather than a settled fact.
What makes it odd is the other column. Arsenal have committed only 51 league fouls themselves, 10.2 a game, almost exactly last season's 10.29 over 38 matches, and twelve clubs average more. The whole change sits on one side of the ledger: opponents are fouling Arsenal far more, while Arsenal are not fouling more back. That is the story of the Arsenal fouls stats 2026/27 page, and it matters for anyone pricing foul markets on this team.
Arsenal commit 10.7 fouls per game in 2026/27 across all competitions, at the time of writing: 75 fouls in seven matches, against 100 committed on them (14.3 a game). One note on the numbers: the page's headline figure of 11.1 is its last-ten-games window, which includes three matches from May 2026 (Burnley, Crystal Palace and the Champions League final against Paris Saint Germain). Every team figure here is 2026/27 only unless labelled otherwise, and the Premier League rankings come from the league's own discipline table.
The table below is straight from the page's player board. Because it only counts appearances of 20 minutes or more, cameos do not dilute a rate, and because the page does not publish a per-90 figure, the rate here is fouls per qualifying appearance. The window is the last ten games, so it includes the May fixtures.
Page window: last ten games. Fouls count only from appearances of 20+ minutes.
| Player | Apps | Fouls | Per app | 1+ rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Myles Lewis-Skelly | 7 | 13 | 1.86 | 86% |
| Kai Havertz | 8 | 10 | 1.25 | 88% |
| Gabriel Magalhães | 10 | 10 | 1.00 | 70% |
| Mikel Merino | 4 | 8 | 2.00 | 100% |
| Bukayo Saka | 8 | 8 | 1.00 | 50% |
| Declan Rice | 8 | 7 | 0.88 | 63% |
Myles Lewis-Skelly leads with 13 fouls in seven qualifying appearances, 1.86 per game, and has committed at least one in 86% of them. Kai Havertz has the best 1+ rate of the regulars (88% across eight) and Gabriel Magalhães has 10 in 10. Mikel Merino tops the per-game column at 2.00 but with four appearances; treat that as noise rather than a rate.
Defenders account for 42 of the 99 fouls in the table, attackers 29 and midfielders 28. The goalkeepers add none.
The two are not the same thing. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Magalhães both average 1.00 fouls per appearance, yet Gabriel has committed one in 70% of games and Saka in 50%, because Saka's fouls come in clusters. For a 1+ fouls leg, the hit rate is the number to read; for a 2+ leg, the rate is.
The longer view is a caution on the leader. The page's multi-season board has Lewis-Skelly at 1.24 fouls per game and a 72% hit rate over 29 appearances, so the 1.86 in this window sits well above his own baseline. That is what a hot streak looks like, and it is the reason to look at the player foul markets for Arsenal board with the appearance count next to every rate. The live Statz bet builder below prices the foul legs as they stand today.
The full set of lines lives on the Arsenal over/under foul markets section of the page. Here is how the main ones landed in 2026/27, game by game.
2026/27 only, seven games, all competitions. Games over the line.
| Line | Arsenal | Opponents |
|---|---|---|
| Over 10.5 | 5/7 | 7/7 |
| Over 12.5 | 2/7 | 5/7 |
| Over 14.5 | 0/7 | 3/7 |
Arsenal's own count cleared 10.5 in five of seven games but never reached 14.5; their highest total is 13. Opponents are the other way round: they cleared 12.5 in five of seven and 14.5 in three (Sunderland with 18, Aston Villa with 17 and Chelsea with 16). Match totals were over 22.5 in all seven games, with 23 the lowest, and over 24.5 in two (the 29-foul games against Chelsea and at Sunderland). The line that separates the matches is 24.5, not 22.5.
Arsenal's next league match is at home to Leeds on 10 October. At the time of writing the head to head page carries a Statz model projection of 21.2 match fouls (9.9 for Arsenal, 11.3 for Leeds), which is below every Arsenal match so far this season. The referee, Paul Tierney, averages 22 fouls per match over two games, a thin sample. A projection that sits under the whole season's range is worth noticing, whichever way you take it.
Two windows, because they disagree. Fouls by Arsenal, and fouls against them.
| Split | Games | Arsenal | Against |
|---|---|---|---|
| Home, 2026/27 | 2 | 11.5 | 14.5 |
| Away, 2026/27 | 5 | 10.4 | 14.2 |
| Home, last ten | 3 | 10.0 | 15.0 |
| Away, last ten | 7 | 11.6 | 13.0 |
This one flips depending on the window. Over the page's last ten games Arsenal foul more away (11.6) than at home (10.0). Over 2026/27 alone the order reverses, 11.5 at home against 10.4 away, but that is two home games and five away. The fouls against them stay between 13 and 15 per game in every split. Neither split has the sample to price off, and any story about why Arsenal foul more at one ground is ahead of the data.
The full match-by-match foul log lists every game; here are the seven from this season.
Fouls by Arsenal, fouls by the opponent, and the match total.
| Match | Arsenal | Opp | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chelsea (H) | 13 | 16 | 29 |
| Sunderland (A) | 11 | 18 | 29 |
| Aston Villa (A) | 6 | 17 | 23 |
| Brighton (A) | 11 | 13 | 24 |
| Coventry (H) | 10 | 13 | 23 |
| Ipswich (A, cup) | 13 | 11 | 24 |
| Napoli (A, UCL) | 11 | 12 | 23 |
Arsenal's lowest count was 6, at Villa, and Villa committed 17 in that game. Their highest was 13, against Chelsea at home and Ipswich in the Carabao Cup. Seven matches cannot separate high-press opponents from low-block ones, so this piece will not claim a style effect. The two-season split on the page does give more to work with: against the top six, over 11 matches, Arsenal commit 11.82 fouls per game and draw 10.27; against the bottom six, over 14 matches, they commit 9.93 and draw 12.57. Stronger opponents pull Arsenal's fouls up and push the fouls against them down.

Arsenal commit 10.7 fouls per game in 2026/27, at the time of writing: 75 fouls in seven matches. Opponents commit 14.3 per game against them, which is the larger number of the two.
Myles Lewis-Skelly has the most, with 13 fouls in seven qualifying appearances on the Statz page (1.86 per game). His longer record is 1.24 per game over 29 appearances, so the current rate is above his baseline.
In 2026/27 alone, home: 11.5 fouls per game across two matches against 10.4 away across five. Over the page's last ten games it reverses, with 10.0 at home and 11.6 away. The samples are too small to call.
That depends on the player and the price. Lewis-Skelly and Havertz have each committed a foul in 86% and 88% of qualifying appearances, but the samples are seven and eight games. Compare the rate with the live price.
