Goalscorer Bet Builder Tips Today

The likeliest scorer in each of today's matches, by the Statz projections model - built into ready-made anytime scorer doubles and trebles, priced across our bookmakers, with a one-tap betslip on the combos the books can take.

How our goalscorer bet builder tips are built

Every pick starts in the Statz projections model, which prices every player in a covered fixture for the chance of scoring - from their shot volume and where those shots come from, their penalty and set-piece duties, their expected minutes, and the number of goals the model gives their team in that particular match. One player per fixture qualifies - the likeliest scorer in each game - and the day's strongest candidates are combined into a double and, when the slate is deep enough, a treble.

Each combo is then priced as a single bet on the one bookmaker that covers every leg, with a betslip link that loads all the legs in one tap. Prices are correct at the time of build and move through the day - the price at the bookmaker is the one that counts.

These are tool output, not a tipping service: even an elite striker scores in barely half his matches, so treat the combos as data-backed starting points, check the team news before kick-off, and only ever stake what you are comfortable losing.

What "anytime scorer" actually means

An anytime scorer bet wins if your player scores at any point in normal time - the ninety minutes plus stoppage. Extra time in cup ties is excluded at most books, penalties in a shootout never count, and an assist is not a goal however good it was.

The rule that catches people out: own goals do not count. If your striker turns one into his own net the market ignores it, and if a shot deflects in off a defender the dubious-goals question suddenly matters - most books settle on how the goal is officially credited. Penalties, tap-ins and thirty-yarders all count the same: one goal, bet won.

Who actually scores

Goals are a volume business before they are a talent business. The players who score most reliably are the ones who take the most shots from the best positions - penalty-box strikers, wingers who arrive at the far post, and anyone on penalty duty, which alone is worth a meaningful slice of scoring probability across a season.

The projection also cares who the goals come against. A striker facing a high defensive line with pace in behind is a different bet from the same striker running into a packed low block, and a team the model expects to score three carries every one of its attackers up with it. That is why our picks change daily with the fixture, not just with the form table.

Substitutions, Super Sub and the void rules

Goalscorer markets are where bet365's Super Sub rule was born: if your player starts and is substituted, the player who replaces him inherits the anytime scorer bet, and a replacement's goal pays as if your man had scored it. That softens the classic sting of the striker withdrawn on 70 minutes - though not every bookmaker runs the rule, and the details differ where they do.

The standard settlement rules underneath are consistent across books: a player who takes any part in the match has a live bet that wins or loses on what happens while he is involved, and a player who never comes on at all is void - stake returned, not lost. A late substitute appearance keeps the bet alive for however many minutes he gets. As ever, your bookmaker's terms are the ones that settle your slip - our Super Sub explainer covers the differences in detail.

Do your own digging

Every leg above can be checked against the same numbers we used to pick it. The goals leaderboards show who is actually scoring in every league we cover, each player's page carries his match-by-match record, and the Bet Builder tool prices any player in a covered fixture against the model - so you can rebuild today's double with your own legs, or disagree with ours, from the same data.

FAQs

What are today's goalscorer bet builder tips?

Ready-made anytime scorer combos for today's covered matches: the likeliest scorer in each fixture by the Statz projections, combined into a double and treble, each priced as a single bet with a one-tap betslip where the bookmaker supports it.

How are the goalscorer picks chosen?

Projection first: the model prices every player in a covered fixture for the chance of scoring from shot volume, shot quality, penalty duties, expected minutes and the goals it expects their team to score in that match. One player per fixture qualifies, fixtures rank against each other, and the top of the ranking makes the day's combos. Picks are lineup-aware - built from confirmed teams when available and predicted elevens before that.

Do own goals count for an anytime scorer bet?

No. Own goals are excluded from goalscorer markets at effectively every bookmaker - the goal has to be officially credited to your player. Deflected goals settle on the official credit, which is why the dubious-goals panel occasionally decides a bet days later.

What happens if my player does not play, or comes on late?

A player who takes no part at all is void at most books - stake returned. A player who comes on for any amount of time has a live bet for the minutes he plays. The dangerous middle case is the early substitution: the bet stands on what he did while on the pitch, unless your book runs a Super Sub style rule.

Does the bet365 Super Sub rule cover goalscorer bets?

Yes - goalscorer markets are where the rule started. If your player starts and is later substituted, his replacement inherits the bet, and the replacement's goals count as if they were your player's. Not every bookmaker offers an equivalent, and terms differ where they do - check your book before relying on it.

Do goals in extra time count?

Not at most bookmakers - anytime scorer settles on normal time: ninety minutes plus stoppage. Extra time in cup ties is usually a separate market, and shootout penalties never count as goals.

Which bookmakers price anytime scorer markets?

Effectively all of them - it is the most widely priced player market in football. Each combo on this page is priced on the single book that covers every leg at the best combined price that day, which is also where the one-tap betslip points.
