These rankings project every player's points across the whole season - built from fixture-by-fixture model projections over the next 19 gameweeks, extended to a full-season total, and updated daily. Overall and per-position ranks show exactly where each player sits in the draft order, with tier bands grouping players whose outlooks are effectively interchangeable.
Alongside projected points, every player carries PP/90 - output per full match, the tell for a nailed-on producer versus a rotation risk - and points per million, the value metric that surfaces the cheap enablers returning the most per pound. Strong value picks in defence and midfield are what make the premium captaincy options affordable.
Every player is ranked on projected points for the whole season. The Statz model projects each of the next 19 gameweeks fixture by fixture - opponent strength, expected minutes, defensive contributions and bonus - then extends the remaining gameweeks from each player's projected per-gameweek rate. Once the season starts, points already scored are included, so the ranking always reflects a full-season total.
Points per 90 minutes - a player's projected points scaled to a full match. It puts rotation risks and nailed starters on level terms: a high PP/90 on modest total points signals a player who produces whenever he plays and could explode with a regular start.
Points per million divides a player's projected season points by his price. Value picks - the players returning the most per pound - are how you afford the premium captaincy options: strong PPM enablers in defence and midfield free up the budget everywhere else.
Tiers group players whose projections are close enough to be interchangeable. A big projected-points gap starts a new tier - so rather than agonising over two players three ranking spots apart, treat players in the same tier as similar picks and choose on fixtures, ownership or price.
The projection model re-runs daily, and prices, ownership and availability refresh from the official FPL API twice a day. Players flagged as injured, suspended or without a Premier League move settled drop out of the rankings until their situation clears.
