How to Use Statz Player Profile

Overview

The Statz Player Profile page is your go-to destination for in-depth statistics on any player across the competitions we cover. Whether you’re researching a bet builder leg, tracking a fantasy asset, or analysing a player’s form ahead of a fixture, the Player Profile consolidates everything you need into one place.

Each profile shows match-by-match data across key stats — shots, shots on target, goals, assists, fouls, tackles, passes and more — alongside a season summary, skill profile radar, and performance averages compared to the league baseline.

Where to Find Player Profiles

Player Profile pages are accessible throughout the Statz platform. You can reach them by:

  • Clicking a player’s name in fixtures, projections, or bet builder results
  • Using the search bar at the top of any page
  • Using the URL format: statz.ai/player/[player-name]/[player-id] (e.g. statz.ai/player/cole-palmer/28912747)

Understanding the Page Layout

At the top of the page you’ll find a quick-glance season summary: appearances, goals, assists, average rating, yellow cards, shots and xG for the current season — with percentile ranks against the rest of the competition shown alongside each figure.

Below that is the Skill Profile radar, showing the player’s per-game averages for shots, shots on target, fouls, fouls drawn and tackles against the league average. This gives you an immediate visual read on where the player over- or under-indexes versus the field.

The Stats Table

The main table shows match-by-match data for the player’s most recent games — one column per fixture. Each row is a different stat. The grey average column on the left shows their mean across the selected sample.

Stats covered include:

  • Goals and Assists
  • Shots and Shots on Target
  • Fouls Committed and Fouls Drawn
  • Passes and Accurate Passes
  • Tackles, Interceptions, Clearances
  • Yellow Cards, Offsides
  • xG, Opta Points

Filters

Three filters let you customise the data view:

Competition — Filter to a specific league or cup, or view all competitions together. Useful when a player performs differently in domestic vs European football.

Home / Away / All — Split performance by venue. Home and away form can differ significantly, especially for bet builder research.

Stat Line — Adjust the threshold line on the table (e.g. 0.5, 1.5, 2.5) to see at a glance how often a player exceeds a given stat total per game. Essential for calculating hit rates on specific bet builder markets.

Putting Player Profile Data Into Action

Example 1: Researching a shots on target bet builder leg
Set the stat line to 0.5. The table highlights every game where the player hit 1+ SOT. Count the highlighted cells vs total games to get a quick hit rate — then cross-reference with the Statz Bet Builder Tool for odds and formal hit rate percentages.

Example 2: Checking fouls form before a card bet
Filter to the relevant competition, set the stat line to 0.5 (fouls), and check how consistently the player commits fouls. Look at the home/away split if the next fixture is on the road.

Example 3: Fantasy research
Check the Opta Points row to see how the player has scored in recent games, and cross-reference with the upcoming fixture difficulty via the Fixtures page.
