Middlesex Innings – 172 for 6
Kent won the toss and elected to bowl first at the St Lawrence Ground. Middlesex got off to a shaky start when Josh de Caires fell lbw for just 5 at 9/1 in the opening over, but Matthew Boyle steadied the ship with 21 off 17 (4 fours) before being clean bowled at 54/2 in the 6th over.
