David Miller kept the chase on track with 51 off 28 (3 fours, 4 sixes) before falling at 170 in over 16.3. Ashutosh Sharma smashed 24 off 10 (SR 240) before being caught-sub at 205 in over 18.5. In the end, Madhav Tiwari (18* off 8, SR 225) and Auqib Nabi (10* off 2, SR 500) saw Delhi home with an over to spare.

Arshdeep Singh was outstanding for Punjab with 2/21 from 4 overs – an economy of 5.25 in a ground that leaked runs throughout. Yash Thakur also took 2 wickets but his 13.75 economy hurt badly.
