How we pick our BTTS tips

Both teams to score is a probability question, and the Statz model answers it with numbers rather than narratives: expected goals for and against on both sides, attacking output, defensive leakiness, and how those interact at this venue. Every priced match gets a BTTS probability, and this page lists the day's strongest - not just whether both teams might score, but how likely the model makes it against the price on offer.

A 65% BTTS projection still fails once in three. The list is ordered by probability because that is the honest ordering; the vs price column shows where the market disagrees with us, which is where the value lives.

The swerves matter as much as the picks

Most BTTS pages only ever say yes. The model is just as confident in the other direction on some cards - a defence in form against a blunt attack prices BTTS No strongly - and knowing which matches to leave out of a BTTS acca is worth as much as knowing which to put in. When the model rates a No at 60% or better it appears in the swerves block.

From singles to a combined slip

These are singles by design: each probability belongs to one match. If you want the day's BTTS calls combined into a double or treble at a combined price, the BTTS Bet Builder of the Day page builds exactly that from the same model, with the combined odds and a one-click slip. The Acca Builder prices any BTTS combination you assemble yourself.

Check team news before kick-off: BTTS probabilities move with line-ups more than most markets, because one rested striker changes half the equation.

BTTS tips FAQs

What is BTTS in football betting?

BTTS - both teams to score - is a bet that each side scores at least once in the match, regardless of the result. It settles at full time; extra time does not count.

How are these BTTS tips calculated?

The Statz model projects a both-teams-to-score probability for every priced match from expected goals, attacking output and defensive record on both sides. The list is ordered by that probability, with the price and the value gap shown alongside.

What does the "vs price" column mean?

The gap in percentage points between our projected probability and the margin-free probability the bookmaker's price implies. Positive means the model thinks the price is too big.

Is a BTTS accumulator a good bet?

Combining BTTS picks multiplies the prices and the risk together. If you want a combined slip, our BTTS Bet Builder of the Day builds a double or treble from the same projections with the combined odds shown honestly - most multis lose, and the page says so.

Are these BTTS tips free?

Yes - the full list, the probabilities and the swerves are free and refresh through the day as prices move.
