Glamorgan Post 188 – Smale and Dickson Lead the Charge
Glamorgan won the toss and elected to bat, and their top order made early inroads. Kiran Carlson fell for 10 at 17/1 in the opening over, but Will Smale took charge with a blistering 58 off 36 balls (6 fours, 3 sixes) at a strike rate of 161. Ben Kellaway provided explosive support with 32 off 19 (4 fours, 1 six) at 168, helping Glamorgan race to 114/2 by the 12th over.
The middle order wobbled when Asa Tribe fell for 1 at 87/3, but Sean Dickson anchored the final overs with an unbeaten 55 off 35 (9 fours) at 157, while James Neesham added 27 off 20 (3 fours) to push the total to 188/4. Warwickshire’s bowling was expensive – Chris Woakes went for 45 from 4 overs, and Jordan Thompson conceded 43 from 3. Usman Tariq was the pick of the attack with 2/26 from 4 overs, while Richard Gleeson took 1/36 and Thompson claimed 1/43.

His 114-run partnership with Beau Webster (23 off 20, 3 fours) pushed Warwickshire to 129/2 by the 13th over, but the momentum stalled when both fell in quick succession.
Sam Hain managed 18 off 15 before falling at 128/4, and Ed Barnard was run out for 15 at 164/5. The chase looked in jeopardy at 168/7 when Kai Smith fell for a duck, but Dan Mousley (38 off 23, 2 fours, 3 sixes) and Chris Woakes (7 off 4, 1 four) saw Warwickshire home with 1 ball to spare.
