How Statz Rating works:
- Each player receives a contextual match impact score based on their all-round contribution — batting, bowling, and situational factors.
- Ratings are scaled against the season benchmark so they are directly comparable across fixtures and to the season leaderboard.
- A typical top performer scores around 100. Exceptional performances can exceed 100.

Lancashire Post 201 Thanks to Livingstone Blitz
Lancashire’s innings was all about Livingstone. Openers Keaton Jennings (28 off 19) and Marcus Harris (25 off 18) gave the home side a platform, but it was Livingstone who detonated. Walking in at 51/1 in the sixth over, he unleashed eight sixes and three fours in a breathtaking 81 off 37. His departure at 166/3 in the 17th over left Lancashire needing others to finish.
Ben McDermott (3), Matthew Hurst (4) and Joe Moores (8) all fell cheaply, but Harry Singh smashed 26 off 16 with three sixes and George Balderson added 17 off 11 to push the total to 201/8.
James Neesham was superb with the ball, taking 4-0-24-3 at an economy of 6.00. Daniel Douthwaite chipped in with 4-0-57-2.
Glamorgan Chase Goes to the Wire
Chasing 202, Glamorgan lost Kiran Carlson (18 off 8) and Henry Hurle (6) as regular wickets fell. Will Smale struck 26 off 15 and Ben Kellaway made 32 off 24, but Livingstone’s bowling threatened to win the game for Lancashire too – he took 3 wickets for just 13 runs off 4 overs with a maiden, an economy of 3.25.
Sean Dickson held the innings together with 44 off 31 (four fours, three sixes), but it was Chris Cooke who proved the match-winner. Coming in with Glamorgan needing 60 off 17 balls, Cooke blasted an extraordinary 44 not out off just 15 balls – two fours and five sixes at a strike rate of 293 – to drag Glamorgan over the line off the final ball.
Lancashire’s bowlers were largely expensive, with Luke Wood going for 62 off his four overs and Balderson conceding 51. Only Livingstone (3.25) and Tom Hartley (7.50 from 4-0-30-1) kept any control.
